A lot more/ in common
Message from xunilxunil posted on 19-10-2016 at 14:22:36 (D | E | F)
Hello ,
Could you help me please with this sentence?
'I have a lot more in common with my sister.'
Is 'more' a pronoun? And is ' a lot' an adverb? Can we rewrite the sentence as following ?
I have a lot/much/far/a bit/any more interests in common with my sister.
I have a lot/much/far/a bit/any more stuff in common with my sister.
Can we use all the adverbs used for comparative forms (more/any/no/much better) with more in the above sentences?
Thanks for any reply.

Hello,
I have a lot/many more interests in common with my sister.
I have a lot/much more stuff in common with my sister.

You can't use much with a plural or many with a singular.
A bit is rather familiar.
Any can't be used in your sentence.
