Message from milasha posted on 07-10-2015 at 07:44:13 (D | E | F)
Good morning.
Thank you for paying attention to my letter and helping me.
In what which part of the following sentence there is is there a mistake?
He is more older than he looks.

Hello!
He is more older than he looks.
'Old' is short and shouldn't be preceded by 'more'.

Hello,
Basic rule: He is older and more elegant than me.

But you could say:
He is much older and much more elegant than me. Much, a lot and far are optional.
He is a lot older and a lot more elegant than me.
He is far older and far more elegant than me.
