For me, the word spaces defines a place, like a country, region or even a city. The word exchanges defined the reciprocity and transfer between different entity. The links between the two words translated exchanges between peoples, whether they be commercial or cultural. With the enterprise that I will present to you, I'll speak of cultural exchange and influence of Hollywood on other business sector than cinema.
Indeed, I will talk about the Universal theme park in the world because this logic of cultural exchanges between peoples the universal theme parks fits into the notion ''space and exchange''. Thus, we can ask in what Universal parks and resort make it part of the globalization of exchanges and cultures ?
The origin of the Universal Theme Parks dates to nineteen eleven. If was at this that the Universal film studio manager decided to launch tours of its Hollywood studios. Gradually, Hollywood becomes most famous on the general public and the visit of Universal Studios attract many people. Following this success, the director of Universal decid to build a theme park around the theme of cinema in the same breast of Hollywood studios. In 1964 the Universal Studios Hollywood opens. Although this park was influenced by the first Disneyland park, who opened in nineteen fifty five, the Universal studios hollywood bring new ideas and revolutionize the parks by different means for this develop over time.
The use of famous licences : The licenses owned by Universal Studios are known worldwide and allow to attract visitors with characters who are their famillier. For example: King Kong, Jurassic Park, The Mummy, The Simpsons …
The technology in the parks : The attractions in universal theme parks mixing new technology with natural sceneries. They developed the 3D and the motion simulator in amusement parks. With, for example: Terminator 2 in 3D.
This combination of technology in the attractions found today in full of park, like Futuroscope.
The success of Universal Studios Hollywood allowed the growth of the park by offering new attractions and also open another park. In nineteen ninety, with help from Steven Spielberg, Universal Studios Florida opened, with new attractions like Jaws. In 1999, Universal's Island of Adventure [Diapo 5-4], still in Florida opens. These three american parks enjoying great success with twenty million visitors each year, this succes giving the opportunity to the direction of Universal to open new parks in the worldwide. In 2001, opens in Osaka Universal's Japan and 9 years later. In 2010, a second park in Asia opens: Universal Singapore. This means that each park built its own identity and it is not a copy of american parc.
Even if, each park trying to forged their own identity, the asian parc are very marked by the American culture and they attract the world because the two asian parks are among the 30 park most visited in the world, with 10 million visitors in Universal Japanese and 3.6 million visitors for the Universal Singapore.
This success shows the influence of Universal in countries that are culturally very different and the characters of american movies are appreciated in this countries. The targeted public in these parks are mainly families, because they are a great group of people and spend the most money at the park therefore the ads are targeted to this section of the population.
Today, Universal them park is the third group in the fields of parks that generates most input behind Merlin Entertaiment (park in Europe) and Disney. The parcs have a strong success reflecting the influence of the characters extracted from Universal films on the public outside the american borders.
So, we can say that the Universal theme parks are part of a logic of globalization of cultural exchanges across the United States to Asia. They show that the american characters are liked in other countries.
The Universal parks can also be seen with the notion Idea of progress, because they have made incorporate new technologies into their attractions, as I have said previously. In fact, they contribute to the development of 3D and 4D (a mixing of relief and motion simulators). Finally, they also contributed to the development of the IMAX, a high quality image format.

Bonsoir,
vous donnez l'impression d'avoir pris un descriptif français et de l'avoir passé à la moulinette du traducteur, comme le montrent des passages comme:
"characters who are their famillier. " des personnages qui leur sont familiers
"the attractions found today in full of park": des attractions trouvés aujourd"hui dans "plein de" parcs.
Cette suite de données ne me semble pas illustrer votre notion.
