Hello everybody

I just watched a cartoon from my childhood and heard that at the end of the episode:
"Chiro: You know... I can't imagine life without Skeleton King
Antauri: Of course you can Chiro. You have but to choose to"

Does the last sentence mean "Tu n'as pas d'autre choix que de choisir"
I really don't get the meaning and the construction of this sentence, could someone help me please ?

Hello.
Your suggestion has the sense, 'You have no other choice'.
You have but to choose to indicates that it is possible. All you have to do is choose (to do it) or you only have to choose to do it.

Je pense que ça a plus le sens de : "tu n'as qu'à choisir de l'imaginer"
