Correction/ speech
Message de silverclimber posté le 16-02-2014 à 15:57:53 (S | E | F)
Hello,
I have to make a spitch speech for tomorrow. I have three questions and I need to answer them.
Could you correct my mistakes please ? I would be grateful! Thank you in advance

Love V.S Duty
I: To what extent should professional duties prevoil over privial interest?
As a general rule, we loved to say « think of your studies, your professional future is more important than love stories » . But in fact, sometimes we have to concentrate on love life because if you heart was fine, your professional life should be too. So I think it depend on the situations, you have to adaptate.

II : What would you have done if you were Edward VIII ?
If I were in Edward's VIII situation, I shouldn't make the same things than him. J want to believe I don't abandon the throne but situations make mens so I can't be sure about this.
However I believe it for two main reasons : firstly because Great Britain need me, need a King and secondly because I have a big sense of the honor and also responsibilities.

III : What would you be prepared to do for love ?
If think if I really loved a woman and if she really loved me too, I may do anything. Except
steal, hit, murder a person. Fundamentals rules go in front my love feelings. Yet I was able to do much things for example : drive some thousands kilometers to see him makes me no problems. And as well make some efforts like accept her pet's if she had some one and even dropping my things of the window as long as she will love me, I shall survive.

Bonjour,

Hello..there are many errors, mainly connected with the tenses of the verbs you use. What tense should you use when writing about a hypothetical situation?

Love V.S vs Duty
I: To what extent should professional duties prevoil over privial interest?
As a general rule, we loved (temps?) to say « think of your studies, your professional future is more important than love stories » . But in fact, sometimes we have to concentrate on (pronom possesssive manquant) love life because if you heart was (temps?) fine, your professional life should be too. So I think it depends on the situations, you have to adaptate?.

II : What would you have done if you were Edward VIII ?
If I were in Edward's VIII situation, I shouldn't make the same things than him. J I want to believe I don't (temps?) abandon the throne but situations make mens (pluriel de 'man'?) so I can't be sure about this.
However I believe it for two main reasons : firstly because Great Britain need (3eme personne singulier) me, need? a King and secondly because I have a big sense of the honor and also responsibilities.

III : What would you be prepared to do for love ?
If think if I really loved a woman and if she really loved me too, I may do anything. Except
steal, hit, murder a person. Fundamentals rules go in front my love feelings. Yet I was temps? able to do much many ('much''avec la quantité -- 'many' avec le nombre) things for example : drive some thousands of kilometers to see him makes me (verbe incorrect et erroné temps; utiliser le conditionnel avec "to cause") no problems. And as well make (-ing) some efforts like accept (-ing) her pets's if she had some one and even dropping my things of the window as long as she will love me, I shall survive.
