Hello,
in exercises about homophones, Nª 101460 - sentence 9 > -...curbs and in Nª 101544 - sentence 12 > kerb.
I looked up in a dictionary but I cannot make out the difference between curb/curbstone and kerb. Aren´t they the same?
I´d appreciate your help.

curb= US spelling
kerb= British spelling.

Curb is also a verb. To curb is to check or restrain
The government needs to curb spending.
