Correction/ paragraphe 3
Message de popikoju posté le 02-05-2013 à 17:00:45 (S | E | F)
Bonjour,

After, the history took place in Windy Corner, where Lucy’s family lived. Lucy had accepted the wedding proposal of Cecil Vyse. Freddy, Lucy’s brother and Mr. Beebe, did not seem to like this man. A garden party was organized by Mrs. Honeychurch. After that, Cecil and Lucy were in Summer Street and they saw two houses including one that was available to rent. Lucy spoke with Sir Harry Otway, the house’s owner, about this house for Miss Catharina Alan and Miss Teresa (the two women that she met during her Italian trip). Then, during a walk in the wood, Cecil kissed Lucy for the first time, but it was a little bit odd, it was like she did not love him.
Cecyl met the Emerson’s in London one moment before coming back in Wendy Corner and he talked them about the rental house. George and his father were very interested and decided to move in this house. Lucy was furious because she wanted this house for Miss Alans.

Merci de votre aide.

Bonjour,

After that, Cecil and Lucy.... est correct mais on peur dire:Afterwards (ensuite), Cecil and Lucy
4.Lucy spoke : talked

Cecyl met the Emerson’s in London one moment before coming back in(mauvaise préposition) Wendy Corner and he talked(préposition manquante) them about the rental house. George and his father were very interested and decided to move in to this house. Lucy was furious because she wanted this house for Miss Alans.

donc took place
4.talked to them c'est correcte.
Bon courage

Voici le paragraphe 4 :
When Lucy and Cecil were in London, she received a letter from Miss Bartlett. There is been certain coolness between both women since August in Rome. In this letter she threatened Lucy to tell her family and Mr. Vyse about her behaviors in Italy.
One afternoon in autumn, Mr.Beebe and Freddy came to meet the Emerson’s in their house. Freddy, Mr. Beebe and George went to bathe into the pool in the woods. Freddy and George were playing with Mr. Beebe’s clothes, when suddenly Mrs. Honeychurch, Cecil and Lucy arrived there. They were on the way to see Mrs. Butterworth to celebrate the engagement. George greeted cheerfully Lucy but Mrs. Honeychurch forbade it to Lucy.

There is been a certain coolness :There had had a certain coolness between the two women (il faudrait vérifier both et the two
women)
MRS Honeychurch refrained from wishing happiness to Lucy
