She dispatches the present with her donkey. I learnt that on the site of Montbéliard.

Aunt Arie or Airie, a fairy from Montbéliard.
Going back to at least the 15th century, tales are told in the Franche-Comté of Tante Airie and her donkey Marion. She would listen to the dreams of good children, and at Christmas she and her donkey would deliver wonderful presents to them. Naughty children would receive a bunch of twigs.
